Time in New England

Hello Everyone,
I know it has been a while but life gets busy and blogging takes a bit of time if you're slow at it. Mom and Dad have made their way back to AZ and we miss them.
We were tired of working on the house and yard...the list is endless so we decided to take a hike!
The boys, Kane and us started off to tackle Mt Belknap a short 2 mile round trip hike.
We all loved it and plan to keep it going.
We used to hike a lot with Jade and Mitch but got away from it.
So here are some shots of our lives in the past 6 months.
Fun Hiking on Belknap Mountain.
Fall in New England

If only childcare was this easy!!

Each year the school invites an artist to come and share their "art" with the students for 2 weeks.
This year we had a musician from Kenya Theo. His group is called Akwaba. He taught the students how to use and play africian drums. It was amazing at the concert.

FUN FEBRUARY!!!

Well before February Vacation began I had the brilliant idea to go to the ocean with Kane and the family. It was suppose to be 50 degrees out and sunny. Scott like the idea to allow our new "puppy" the opportunity to run wild. The boys and I looked up Plum Island on the internet as we heard it was a big beautiful beach to walk on. So we alll agreed it was a good idea. Well little did we know that it would be around 50 but with wind gusting 25-30 mph. NOT the best weather to walk on the beach. But we stuck it out for at least 15 minutes and gave up the walk. Kane of course couldn't understand why!

Winter has not left New England by a long shot. We got yet another storm on Sunday afternoon thru the night giving us another 11 or so inches but who's counting:) We lost power in the middle of a Sean Connery movie " The Rock" the boys were very disapointed as was I . I love Sean Connery!!!! Anyway we got many shots of the great white snow storm. Those of you who deserted us I know you REALLY miss the white stuff!!!

Kane is not very fond of the snowblower and would rather eat it than have it get rid of snow!!

This is where my beautiful gardens Dru relaxing in the snow!

should be but not for a while at this

point!

Here I am finally. Dru took the shot, my swollen face is covered. I had oral surgery on Friday and the right side of my face is still swollen. Now I've got 4-6 months of healing to do. I made sure that the (cow)bone graft I received didn't have mad cow issues.

The doctor said I should be ok but let him know if I start acting crazy:)

I still have not mastered this blog thing...Hopefully I can get some one on one lessons from Deb and Teresa sometime soon!!!!

Love you all Lizzie and the B Gang!!

IT"S A BOY!!!

Well it's been about a month and so much has happened. We have a new addition to our family his name is Kane and he is a 15 month old bullmastiff. We have been looking for another bullmastiff for about 6months and were ready to call it quits for a while and then out of the blue we got Kane. He is very well behaved and loving being part of the family...except for Max our dominate male cat.

We have been having some fun enjoying the large amounts of snow here in NH. We took the boys out snowshoeing last Sunday around our house and our across the pond. We had a great time finding tracks. Deer, squirrel and snowshoe hare!!! Impa you would be proud of your young outdoorsman!!

This photo is of Dru , Jack and a Barred Owl we aquired. He is beautiful. We are working to get the ok from US Fish and Wildlife to have him stuffed and donated to our school.

We hear that Phil the woodchuckk is predicting 6 more weeks of winter but we're all set here in NH. We're happy to see spring come and the flowers along with it.
