Uncle Chris and Drubby playing Wii!" He gotta Daddy named Forest too?"
Each year the school invites an artist to come and share their "art" with the students for 2 weeks.
This year we had a musician from Kenya Theo. His group is called Akwaba. He taught the students how to use and play africian drums. It was amazing at the concert.

FUN FEBRUARY!!!

Well before February Vacation began I had the brilliant idea to go to the ocean with Kane and the family. It was suppose to be 50 degrees out and sunny. Scott like the idea to allow our new "puppy" the opportunity to run wild. The boys and I looked up Plum Island on the internet as we heard it was a big beautiful beach to walk on. So we alll agreed it was a good idea. Well little did we know that it would be around 50 but with wind gusting 25-30 mph. NOT the best weather to walk on the beach. But we stuck it out for at least 15 minutes and gave up the walk. Kane of course couldn't understand why!

This is where my beautiful gardens Dru relaxing in the snow!

This photo is of Dru , Jack and a Barred Owl we aquired. He is beautiful. We are working to get the ok from US Fish and Wildlife to have him stuffed and donated to our school.
We hear that Phil the woodchuckk is predicting 6 more weeks of winter but we're all set here in NH. We're happy to see spring come and the flowers along with it.

Ilyana on her new rocking horse from Nana!! She was still riding it at 9pm last night.

How many Uncles does it take to help Ilyana open her gifts??

Ily loved ripping the paper. Just keep feeding them to her!!!
Ilyana wearing her new sweater from Grammie! Of course the first words out of her mouth this morning is " Where's Grammie!!!"

Virgin Blog?!

Here is picture of our wedding tree. For those of you who may remember we gave small Colorado spruce trees as wedding favors. Deb and Dan grew this one for us before we had a yard. When they moved this year they gave it to us.
It's almost 7 feet tall.
This what Scott looked like after cleaning out from this last storm which gave us about 12 inches of snow.
I'm just learning so more to come!!
